1. Plan a fun pregnancy announcement!

You’ve had your first ultrasound and you’re ready to let the world know your special news!

Include your kids, your pets and anything that shows your uniqueness as a couple and a family.

I am happy to help you plan for a fun announcement! We can plan a couples or family session in my studio or anywhere in the Indianapolis area. You can share your ideas, bring your ultrasound, and we will create a fun way for you to remember this special stage of celebrating the new little one joining your family!

2. Start planning for your nursery theme!

There are so many fun ideas when planning for your nursery theme. You can choose to have a color scheme and pick out a color palette. You can choose a theme involving animals such as Noah’s ark, Safari or Teddy Bears. You could choose something more whimsical like bumblebees, butterflies or fairies. A more imaginative theme is always fun such as dinosaurs, or space exploration, or any storybook theme.

If you love sports, that can make for a fun theme for your baby’s nursery.

I am a retired elementary school teacher, so my babies’ nurseries were Paddington Bear, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Bumblebees, and Curious George!

Often, mommas choose to incorporate the nursery theme into their newborn session. I will always ask if you have a theme you would like incorporated and we will have fun planning your newborn session to include this fun element!

Check out these blog posts that highlight newborn sessions I’ve done that incorporate baby’s nursery theme!
