There is something very magical and bittersweet for a parent about reaching the milestone of your baby turning one. When your baby first arrives, everything is so new and the nights are very long as you become accustomed to getting up several times each night to feed your baby. Yet it becomes evident very quickly that time does not slow down and even in just the first few days you can see your baby changing before your eyes! The newborn look and feel and smells - they all start to quickly fade. Time begins to fly and before you know it, you feel like you’ve blinked and you are planning to celebrate the first birthday of your precious child! Dexter and Violet are a sweet dynamic little duo! Right from the start at their newborn session it was evident that they were inseparable best friends with two very unique and different personalities that compliment each other! Dexter is a bit more reserved and loves to take things in. He is more sensitive and quiet. Violet is full of energy and has an explosive personality and is constantly on the move! The sweet relationship that is unique for twins is definitely evident with these two! They bring so much joy and laughter to all around them!

Dexter and Violet’s mommy and daddy chose the Hawaiian theme from Disney’s Moana for their cake smash session and they had so much fun enjoying their sweet Hawaiian cakes!
